Here are my rules for avoiding companies/services based on name:

  • No first names
  • No "-ly", "-ify", or similar
  • No baby talk
  • No glossary terms

Follow these rules and you'll avoid 90% of slop. Not specifically AI slop, human slop too.

Somehow I ended up hating praise... and numb to criticism too. If anyone has an opinion on me, keep it to yourself cause I don't want to hear it. And don't talk about me behind my back either. In fact, close your eyes and plug your ears when I'm around cause I'm tired of your perception too.

If this induced rage in you, seek therapy my man. Also, if you'd ever spent any significant time around other people you'd know how often these simple etiquette rules are broken.

It's not 51% of the coins, it's 51% of the computing power on the network. Both of which are virtually impossible in the case of Bitcoin, though not entirely impossible. I just wouldn't consider a 51% attack even remotely a threat to the network compared to something like government crackdown

When will people realize that republicans do not support the first (edit: SECOND, lmao, but yeah first too) amendment? They support use of force to further their agenda. That's it. Making gun ownership out to be a right wing thing is such a gigantic fuckup.

What do you mean do something, can't you see we're posting about it? Jokes aside, choosing to not have kids is doing something about it.

Listen I hate ICE as much as the next guy but portraying slipping on ice as harmless is dishonest at best. Slipping and falling is very likely to result in hospitalization or death (over a third of the time, according to the CDC)

We can discredit ICE without distorting reality. All distorting reality does is discredit OURSELVES.

It's pretty easy to explain why people prefer CLI over GUI programs. You have to learn a new interface for every single GUI program, whereas you learn one interface for every CLI program.

It would marginally decrease the chance of your password being brute forced, which is likely the last way your password would ever get hacked, and most services have rate limiting to make this impossible or overwhelmingly unlikely anyway. So I'm gonna say no, not even slightly.

It's my personal opinion that having sex with a condom is worse than not having sex, and I'm not getting a vasectomy until I'm confident I never want kids. Their reversibility is dubious at best and it's not worth the risk if you aren't 100% sure. I'm pretty sure I'll never have kids, but I'm not even confident enough about how I'll feel a decade from now to get a tattoo... so making such a big choice is out of the question.

I'm happy to just not have sex with women who aren't on birth control. If you feel this is wrong, the solution is simple. We can just not have sex together. Problem solved.
