I thought Beehaw defederated completely from lemmy. Did they not ever do that or did they return at some point?
Lemmy is software, a link aggregator so yes, like reddit. But it's not centrally hosted. Each instance is hosted separately by its own admins and functions like its own social media site with its users and communities. The various instances are federated which means that users can interact across those instances. Think of it kind of like how you can email anyone whether you have a gmail or yahoo mail account (except instead of emails, it's public posts like these).
The admins of the lemmy.ml instance also happen to be the developers of the entire software Lemmy and they are Marxists but anyone can use the software because its open-source and host their own instance. Most of the big instances are now filled with users from reddit most of which are libs.
Of course. My analysis is nowhere near comprehensive but I just think we don't know enough yet to really go further without heavy speculation.
Yeah, hahaha, although I actually never played Hollow Knight but my friend was really into it when I was making my account here. As he was showing me the game, I liked the Mr. Mushroom picture so I just decided to use it here.
I haven't gone through all of it but BadEmpanada has several videos on Argentina's history. He also has a lot of sources you could look further into.

Yep, same here and not just books.
Ginkgo biloba, it's a living fossil, has some very interesting properties, and I really like the unique shape of its leaves.
To back up your analysis and clarify the need for it, I would like to add a few quotes from Lenin.
In A Caricature of Marxism and Imperialist Economism (1916) Lenin says:
How, then, can we disclose and define the “substance” of a war? War is the continuation of policy. Consequently, we must examine the policy pursued prior to the war, the policy that led to and brought about the war.
And also:
For the philistine the important thing is where the armies stand, who is winning at the moment. For the Marxist the important thing is what issues are at stake in this war, during which first one, then the other army may be on top.
In Socialism and War (1915) he says:
For example, if tomorrow, Morocco were to declare war on France, India on England, Persia or China on Russia, and so forth, those would be “just,” “defensive” wars, irrespective of who attacked first; and every Socialist would sympathise with the victory of the oppressed, dependent, unequal states against the oppressing, slaveowning, predatory “great” powers.
Taking these principles into account it's clear we have to consider the policies of the states involved in a war and not just decry the seeming aggressor. As you pointed out, NATO's policy has been one of aggression and expansion, spreading into Ukraine. While Russia had been trying for years to abide by diplomatic treaties (particularly relating to the situation in Donbass) that the West has been systematically ignoring.
Thanks, and thanks @ImOnADiet, I had thought they blocked basically all of lemmy and just went their own way.
