It's too bad the media didn't cover Bernie like this.

I think it's not accurate to call pagers outdated. There's a reason those professions still use them and it's not just because old habits die hard or something.

Nah, I blame the media. If any mainstream media actually bothered to report seriously on Bernie and especially the turnouts he was pulling at his rallies, we probably would have had more than enough people energized to vote in the primary and the general. Instead, the MSM acted like Bernie wasn't a real candidate. I stopped supporting NPR after how dirty they did him.

Dude, this definitely depends on the McDonald's. Just like the quality of the food, too.

When I ran Cinnamon Mint I definitely did this. Looked like Windows 7.

None is specifically called out as being an option.

Mac is my favorite software development OS. Linux has too many issues with related software like Slack and doesn't have good Office software. Windows on the other hand is fucking dog shit for development.

True. Updated the last sentence of my comment slightly. I suspect most people who use the Internet are not basement dwelling trolls and therefore probably are typically in brighter surroundings.

The majority of the research out there does not support dark mode being better for your eyes. Generally, you only experience additional eye strain from a screen when the brightness of the screen is different from surrounding light conditions. So if you want to reduce strain, use brighter screens in bright daylight and dimmer screens in a dark room.

However, the research also indicates that it is easier for most people to focus on text when it is dark text on a light background. This is especially true for people with astigmatism (about 1/3 of Americans).

So, kindly leave your default dark mode off my sites. Thanks.

They only accuse Apple of being backwards in this case because for anyone else to use it they have to pay a licensing fee to Apple. The new standard (USB-C) is free to add to your device.

You know, the post that you're responding to could just be highlighting a parallel rather than being a criticism of the OP.

Now if they could just remaster my faded FPS skills...
