Yea, at least with those who have attained a minimum of mid-close friend tier status lol

And I'm going to plug YNAB which is why I have these numbers, it costs $120/yr which is included. Highly recommend doing some kind of budgeting even if it's on paper in a notebook once a month because all these costs can creep up. If you want free electronic use a spreadsheet.

My problem with getting and staying on budget is keeping up with data entry, YNAB and it's ilk are all too manual. And the automatic ones have issues pulling together all my accounts and reconsilling the transactions between them. For example, a $10 PayPal debit from my bank account and it's companion PayPal transaction should be correlated as the same transaction, but all the softwares I've tried would automatically treat them as separate no matter what I did. Which would ultimately throw off all the nice budget numbers making them uselss

I was hoping the genAI craziness would at least bore out a great fully automated budget system that would at least mostly solve my problem, but alas I still have yet to hear anything on that front :/

Oracle’s AI plans demand an incredible amount of power, which is also why the company has already secured permits to build three modular nuclear reactors to deliver the electrical needs of its facilities.

That would be so cool, if it wasn't fucking Oracle doing it. This timeline sucks.

A jury isn't allowed to change what the law is

Maybe not, but the whole reason jury nullification exists is so that if the jury feels the law is unjust or the reason a person broke the law is so wholly justified they have a way to rule accordingly

It's an important cornerstone of our legal system. Laws are written by humans and they can be flawed and/or unjust or written for malicious purposes. There should always be a failsafe lever to pull in the legal system and jury nullification is that failsafe

The CCB is a franchisee optional item, they vary wildly in availability as a result.

For example, they've been available in every Colorado location I've been to

Well, based on an earlier thread, it takes a LOT less fuel to launch someone out of the solar system than into the sun, so we could always do that

This is the perfect answer OP, a rich person would most likely never want to see a place like this in person, they'd "send someone"

With Google Workspace cracking down on storage (Been using them for unlimited storage for years now) I was lucky to get a limit of 300TBs, but now I have to actually watch what gets stored lol

A good portion is uh "Linux ISOs", but the rest is very seldom (In many cases last access was years ago) accessed files that I think would be perfect for tape archival. Things like byte-to-byte drive images and old backups. I figure these would be a good candidate for tape and estimate this portion would be about 100TBs or more

But I've never done tape before, so I'm looking for some purchasing advice and such. I seen from some of my research that I should target picking up an LTO8 drive as it's compatible with LTO9 for when they come down in price.

And then it spiraled from there with discussions on library tape drives that are cheaper but need modifications and all sorts of things

I like to let Spotify leave my playlist and just have it play whatever so I can add new songs to my playlist.

But from time to time it'll play songs from some religious band (Usually Christian rock or Christian rap or something). The annoying part is it'll sound pretty good, until I start paying attention to the lyrics and then I realize it's a propaganda song lol and have to block the artist and move on.

Anybody know of a good list of religious artists on Spotify so I can write a script to block them ahead of time? (Or even better an existing FOSS project to do just that lol)
