From a performance point of view the closest location to your entry is the best. Legally speaking other comments pointed out problems to that. I would recommend you do Speedtest in any case regardless of exit point to check your VPN setup.

both download(easy just grab a current Linux ISO like actually) and UPLOAD as well by creating a public torrent that you can download with your home connection/other server/vps

Guys maybe don't incriminate yourself with posting circumstancial evidence of yourself committing crimes on a massive scale. Big corpo is watching whis sub and can just pick it's juciest target from the comment section of this post.

Like yes you might be using a VPN but posting shit like this paints a target on your back screens can leed to wiretaps on your real IP which you probably also used to post these screenshots here. After that they can see which VPN you use. They can just ask your VPN even if they don't log anything "hey what current connections is this user using right now" and since you are probably seeding 24/7 there is a good chance they can link some of the uploaded torrents to the actual torrent file and now they have enough to get a warrant and cease your equipment with all them TBs of evidence.

Anyway just practice SOME opsec.

Been using it myself for some years but the up speeds are really ass max I got was 5MB/s up. In speed tests ~300mbit up while my server was in an actual Datacenter with multi gibt connection I switched to proton and got throttled at 1gbit which is a lot better

Oh and someone was hosting a Tor endpoint on one of there vpns which gets the IP Blacklisted and you potentially banned from some trackers. support just closed my complaint without comment.

Traffic cost must be insane. Hope they have good hosting and won't be paying through the nose and go broke.

Did steam actually drop the price point yet or are they just speculating? If it's the later than the title is rather misleading.
