I turned one into an Emacs machine, it was £20 and I fucking love it. It's built like a tank too. It's a dell Chromebook 11.

Thanks, I should know that, I've seen every episode!

In a kind of sad way he does have a happy ending. I just don't want it to happen to him. Poor old Pike!

I'm constantly trying out all the ones I can find but so far connect is the only one where I can customise the colours. I love me a sepia theme!

Luckily it's also great in other ways.

Don't get me wrong, I was furious with Michael almost the whole way through!

I think they were trying to tell us the story of someone that struggled with starfleet principles but ends up finding their way and becoming a great captain, but she just pissed the fans off.

She did get a bit better, I now give her a pass because she told her boyfriend that if starfleet told her to she would just kill him.

She's still the least suitable captain of any show though, in my opinion.

There were parts in The Orville that made me cry with laughter.

I loved enterprise, I didn't think I'd be able to stop thinking 'that's the bloke from quantum leap' but he's captain Archer to me now.

Trip was great, I loved phox, t'pol, porthos and Malcolm.

My favourite episode was the one where archer got his brain mashed by some anomaly and t'pol spent 12 years explaining the same thing to him every morning.

When I use startrek.website as my instance I get different search results than if I log into a different instance.

From what I can gather this is because startrek.website has yet to be federated with lots of other instances.

I think I should be able to connect to other instances and communities through the search but nothing happens if I put the address in the search in the way it says in the documentation.

Since today I do get some search results from lemmy.world, beehaw.org and lemmy.ml I think.

Is it just a matter of waiting for it all to propagate and connect or am I doing something wrong? I'm using jerboa on android.
