The day has just started and the tram is already 20min late . How is this even possible ?! 🤯

Cutting back down my work at work days to 2 days a week. 3 days a week was too much and I don’t need to impress anyone any more (been at the new job for 3 months and I figured that’s long enough to show I can fit in the team and do my work )

My partner gets his from the outdoor shops for hiking & daily wear and the thin & synthetic ones are some of the best ones. I have the same ones but female version. I guess the point is, not all thin & synthetic materials are made equal. Hope that makes sense.

My short holiday is over. Waiting to board the plane to come back to melb. Really don’t wanna go back to work tomorrow 😭

You would think payroll could have scheduled the payment a day earlier so it arrives in people’s account on time?! It’s not like they need to manually process everyone’s pay… hope it gets to you today !!

I used to work in a design oriented industry and yes it was very common to comment on / receive comments on the appearance (clothing, hair, glasses, shoes etc). My last job was full of engineers and a lot of male, and nobody seems to care what you look like. My current job has a lot of female in the office and they do tend to notice more and do make comments on what each other’s wearing.

I usually just say thanks and compliment on something they wear/ have and then move on. It’s almost like “morning, how are you?” Type of small talk.

Went to one of the RISING festival events last night, the shadow spirit. Really enjoyed it and there were a lot of interesting works on display. Some of the works are a lot better than some I saw at the Dark Mofo this year

I started a new job 3 weeks ago and discovered there’s a mothers club in the office. They all come in on the same day and started chatting loudly as soon as they walk in the door. Then non stop talking all day about their kids and anything else related to their kids 🙄🙄
