This. 100%. We can and should point out imperfections, but we shouldn't stomp an improvement it into the ground just because it is not 100% perfect.
Das Pfandsystem einfach EU-weit vereinheitlichen. Es ist sowieso eine Schande dass die Flaschen und Kästen nicht einheitlich genutzt werden. Der Umweltschützendes Aspekt des Pfandsystems geht komplett verloren wenn jede Brauerei ihre eigenen fancy Flaschen herstellen darf, welche alle erstmal sortiert, gesammelt und per LKW wieder zum abfüllenden Hersteller transportiert werden müssen.
Verrbraucherfreundlich ist das halt auch nicht. "Nee diese Flaschen nehmen wir nicht. Nur was auch in diesem Markt gekauft wurde." "Du willst die Kisten praktikabel aufeinander stabeln? Tja, geht auch nicht weil unsere Kiste so einen schicken Schwung im Rahmen hat. Dadurch passt sie nicht mehr auf "normale" Kisten." Wir sollten unsere Pfandsystem in Deutschland vielleicht auch einmal Grundlegen überarbeiten.

I run a small PC (ProLian Gen10) with a power consumtion of 40W 24/7. What is your upload speed? Are the torrents you want to seed even wanted? If nobody needs to download them, you wont upload much. Does your VPN supports Port forwarding?
Even though my setup is relatively high, it bothered me that my mixer was just sitting straight up. I was getting neck pain. So me and my dad decided to build this stand out of some spare wood he had in his garage. I was just going to make a prototype to see if I liked it and then make it out of some proper wood, but I liked it so much I decided to just keep it.
This was my setup in 2020 when corona was hitting hard. I bought my DDJ-RZ and gathered my first experiences in 2016. After 4 years of fiddeling around I convinced myselfe to go all in and buy a used Xone:92 from ebay for just 800€! My first turntable was a PLX-500. Because it is belt driven, It was quiet hard to beatmatch with it, but after a while I got a feeling for it and had a blast! Mixing vinyl is so much fun! When my father-in-law found out about that, he gave me 2x SL1210 which he used back in the days when he owned a Nightclub! They were in bad condition but I deep cleaned them and managed to fix some issues with my semi-good soldering skills (Just shocked me one time!).

Everything was borrowed from the local university. So they had no other options and probably wanted to keep it "simple".
They had to connect each projectors with an Ethernet cable. But they didn't care if the cable was 30 metres too long. :D
Yes, the visuals were reactive to slow ambient music. It was nice actually!
This was part of a local Art event. It was all attached to a rotary motor which rotated 720 degrees in each direction.
It depends on your personal preference. If your mixing vinyl, the SL1210s are the non plus ultra in my opinion. In case that your M5G is carrying more dust than actual vinyl, it could be an option to sell them :D
I would never sell mine, because It was a gift from my father in law. They were used in the Club he owned back in the days. So they gained some sentimental value already.
Thank you! I loved to doomscroll r/DJSetups on reddit and just look at other Setups. Some of the are really aestetic, minimalistic, completely over the top or a complete new approach.

Xone:92, XDJ 1000 MK2, SL1210 from 1991. My speakers are the Adam Audio T7V.

I still use two SL1210 turntables from Technics. They are from 1991 and still doing a great Job. My father-in-law bought them for his Nightclub he owned back in the days.
