Meh. She's still a "secret" party member that you're very unlikely to accidentally unlock on a good run.

This is just letting experienced forum-rrading players recruit her a bit more easily.

Picked this up last week for a grand... couldn't pass it up. Holy crap it has a lot of tweakability. There's a bit of a learning curve to getting good sounds out of it, but damn does it sound nice once it's dialed in.

It's been a while since I read the Bible, but I remember a lot of emphasis on treating people you don't like with love and compassion. I don't remember anything in there prohibiting using someone's name because it's been changed.

Maybe this guy should read his book again.

It's totally different from wow. Wow is a real-time mmo. BG3 is a turn-based fantasy RPG (think Divinity:Original Sin or Wasteland 3).

I liked Ron Paul. I didn't always agree with him, but he had principles that he stood by and fought for. He was one of the few people in DC fighting the Bush forever-war surveillance-state in the years after 9/11.

I lost all hope for the Republican party when I saw the crowd at the Republican primary debate in 08 (iirc) boo him for saying that the Golden Rule (do unto others as you would have others do unto you) should apply to international relations.

He was ultimately a Don Quixote figure. Nobody wants a libertarian state. The right wants authoritarianism, the Dems want crony capitalism, the progressives want socialism or social democracy. He was shouting into the wind about freedom and privacy, the public shrugged, and the two parties established a surveillance state and dragged us into a twenty year quagmire.

It seems crazy to me that currently it takes just 50%+1 to change the state constitution. That being said, fast-tracking a special election to raise the threshold to 60% before an amendment polling at 59% goes to the vote is the worst kind of anti-democratic behavior. They're trying to change the rules halfway through the attempt.

I want to see how many people have less than 10 or 15 sec watch time... like how many "video views" are just the video autoplaying in someone's feed as they scroll by?

3.8 mil "video views" is still more than the 3.3 mil viewers he got on Fox, but >2 sec is such a trash metric that I really have no idea how many people are actually watching.

I suspect it has to do with legal compliance. Only available in US = only needing to comply with US law.

Well yeah. Need more kids to work the mill.

You can post on any instance that's federated with the one hosting your account.

We believe that the state usurps the natural safety and freedom of individuals and communities to impose its own order.

I'd argue that "natural safety" is pretty dangerous, and safety is the main argument in favor of ceding freedom to the state.

Nice writeup btw.

Afaik Lemmy is a protocol used by a bunch of servers; lemmy.world, shitjustworks, lemmy.ml, etc. They're all (well, mostly) connected to each other, and each hosts various communities that any member can access. You can access it all through kbin, though kbin is different from lemmy. For example, this community is on lemmy.world, and you posted it here from kbin. I saw it and responded from kbin.

"All" gives you all the content your home server has access to.

I hope that's helpful. I'm still learning myself.
