I don't know if its just me, but I had all my display settings on my Debian install just about right for my eyes. Ran an update and now I swear everything looks small again, but I checked my settings and everything is the same as I had it before

EDIT: Think I've got everything back to how it was. I think it was actually when I tried checking out KDE with X11 instead of Wayland, which is what I had been using. The scaling setting switched all X11 apps to scale themselves instead of scaling with my system setting. Crisis averted😌

Not sure if everyone got switched to All, but if you want to see less go into your user settings and change it to local for Hexbear only content. Way less stuff like that. I was thinking of switching Subscribed or All, but eveytime I click on All it really is quite a lot to take in.

So today I had a conversation with my co-worker, the pro-union one, about the Ukraine war and he's the first person IRL that I've been able to talk about it without them going "Putin is a maniac, heh". We talk about NATO and its role in pushing Russia towards war. I might actually be able to have reasonable political discussions with someone at work
