Or it could be the rulling class takes the biggest cut, clergy the next biggest etc. with workers at the bottom supporting the entire system but receiving the least.
When people find themselves in stress, they will always vote conservative to ensure their own survival. Right now, many young people can't afford housing, they have to spend more time working than living. This is not surprising.
I'm all for segregation spaces as long as essential spaces are open to all such as hospitals, parks etc. There are women only gyms where I am and I used to go to them because I felt safer and more comfortable.
As an outsider, it's really depressing to hear you only get two parties to choose from.
They also provide apartments to live in permanently for those displaced in the development.
Meanwhile, the US has not built high speed rail and has tent cities.
In the case of national infrastructure, China wins hands down.
Although it's kind of ridiculous to compare California with an entire country...

I've got friends who work as consultants for his projects and it's more of a "do as I say" relationship. He buys up properties and then turns them into "luxury" apartments or hotels for his rich mates.
He's part of our affordable housing crisis.
And he goes on to make this statement. Good grief.
I'm not American, but reading the Foreword was just plain scary to me since it comes from a major party. There's nothing about economics and all about moral outrage. You guys need to diversify your parties somehow.
