Dude absolutely. I accidently got cornered by it so I couldn't progress till I beat trumpet dude due to how it would reload (assuming i'm thinking of the same guy). I probably fought that bastard 15 times before I beat it. I'll say I REALLY like the game. It's absolutely beautiful and i'm loving the slow release of the lore. Even the battles (that can be really frustrating) are great because you can get absolutely wrecked 10 times, but then get the timings down and absolutely dominate the bastard. It's really simple, but also real rewarding, I find.

Probably, though also arguably dodging skill didn't matter, because the comparison case was not dodging at all. It was my first time playing, but I can't imagine scaling up the experience from there to some of the bosses I've fought since, all without dodge/parry.

I couldn't come close to beating the first optional hand holding battle ( literally against a little girl) on standard. I can't imagine how they beat the game without dodging and I can't imagine it was fun.

Stop it, stop it. I already like the guy. Geez. But really, great joke.

Haha, yes only Russia and Iran are doing this. Good guys wouldn't behave like this...Israel definitely isn't doing the same thing to Gaza.. Was propaganda always this lazy or is this a new development?

And the US Immediatly stops weapons shipments....the US immediately stops weopons shipments....right?

Does anyone have a link to this actual speech, whenever I hear something this damning, I assume something is wildly out of context.

I'm just curious how many Palestinians need to die, and how much of Gaza needs to be razed to dust before we're "even" in the minds of proponents that somehow this war is justified. Legitimately and in good faith, when are we "good" here?

[-] Numberone@startrek.website 32 points 2 years ago

I mean when we watch decades of wars that kill thousands of American's and MILLIONS of people in their own countries for no reason, maybe we need a little additional justification rather than "fight for your country". Nah! Probably just the fault of the "instant gratification" generations being selfish again.

We see more, and trust less now. Seems like a good first order explanation to me anyway.

Whoopie doing this shit makes me more sad than other dipshit boomers. Growing up she was Guinan, a character on Star Trek TNG. She was unbelievably old and wise and gentle and kind and, honestly, had the best fucking hats. Every time she says something like this, or shat on Bernie, or whatever it is today, it drives home that it's all story telling, and makes it harder to believe in something better.

I genuinely don't understand why so many people go with the network brand. AFAIK all of the US networks have MVNO's that operate on their networks at much lower cost. Some of those virtual operators are even owned by the big guys, e.g. Cricket on ATT. My coworkers pay literally hundreds of dollars more per month than is necessary, and what, they get a few Mbps faster data rates? Is that really worth it?

Edit: TIL a lot of people have had a hard time with MVNO's. My experience has been excellent and consistent, but that apparently doesn't generalize.
