I grew up starting my computer use having to navigate DOS just before windows 3.11 was released. I work in tech today and I feel like just knowing about a lot of the automated things we take for granted today has given me a little bit of an edge.
Which supports that they are targeting people here legally. People on medicaid are not here illegally.

I wonder what measures they'll be taking to filter out a would-be saboteur? Would be really hard if the target is to hire 10k people.
I use TOR because over on Reddit I got unjustly permabanned. It works great! I rarely use reddit but there just happens to be one community that has some helpful information that I'll likely need to follow for the next few months. So TOR has been great for that!
Nothing will change until Americans are willing to disrupt. General Strikes are effective. Shut it all down and see how quickly things change. It's not easy but until you get the appetite for it, nothing will change.
Agreed but being disconnected makes the impact of a lot of the viruses that might be generated with LLMs not worthwhile because of its isolation. Of course, you also lose all the benefits of being connected. All hypotheticals. :)
How ironic would it be that AI ruins the internet and we all go back to disconnected machines with physical/local storage media? Eg. Installing programs from trusted companies off of a CD or USB drive.
If you're a white man who feels like they have to walk on eggshells at work because of that white male identity, you're pretty fragile. I'd hate to see you have to navigate the same social norms that non white males have to. You'd fucking crumble.
