The upholding of the status quo is more important for them than improving social situations and tackling leftist points like wealth inequality, so I personally wouldn't call them left leaning

And the established far right networks our executive like police, military and intelligent services doesn't give a picture of a left leaning country. Wenn man zwischen den Zeilen liest merkt man schnell das da sich noch andere Faktoren mit rein spielen, wo sie nicht so schnell bereit sind laut auszusprechen. Die AFD wird auch nichts an den Problemen ändern, aber die geben ein einfaches Ziel für ihren Unmut.
