Lets be honest, most of the people who get stiff when looking at guns support this. They were always going to bend over for authoritarians because if authoritarians took over the government they were going to be right wing.

As a queer woman in the US, I currently care infinitely more what the US gov and companies track about me than what China does.

For neural nets the method matters more. Data would be useful, but at the amount these things get trained on the specific data matters little.

They can be trained on anything, and a diverse enough data set would end up making it function more or less the same as a different but equally diverse set. Assuming publicly available data is in the set, there would also be overlap.

The training data is also by necessity going to be orders of magnitude larger than the model itself. Sharing becomes impractical at a certain point before you even factor in other issues.

Ah, good old "both sides" argument. Half the reason we are in this mess.

I've no love lost for cops, but I also have no sympathy left in me while I wonder if I'm going to be able to keep my job, access healthcare, and generally exist as myself in society without someone decided to attack me. Fuck him, fuck the cop. There are no innocents in this story.

So I'm going to take some catharsis in that one of the people who would likely have murdered me or anyone like me in the future is gone.

I'm white, but also trans. Currently preparing to move across country to a state where I hope to maintain some rights.

I'm privileged enough to be able to do that, but I also am aware that my job may be at risk with everything going on. This last week has me anxious enough that my ADHD medication is barely doing anything to help me focus on most tasks.

It's the same shit MLK said about the white moderate. Anyone fine and comfy is perfectly OK with other people being denied rights because doing something to fix it means upsetting the status quo and stuff might end up a bit harder for them.

Meanwhile, so many people getting deported means we are about to enter in a massive food shortage and price hike that will effect them. But they will rationalize like they always do that this wasn't something they could have forseen desire the rest of us telling them exactly what was going to happen.

For fuck sake, there were people like that who basically claimed we were crazy for quoting the shit trump said he was going to do. Saying it was hyperbole. Like Trump even knows what that is.

They are both using trans people as a detraction, but actually hate. "we can always tell" is a declaration of intent, not fact. They want/wish to be able to tell, but they can't.

And that is also by design. They want to punish women who aren't the "right kind of women", for style, height, strength, queer. It's why the question is "what" and now who. Because they don't see women as people. Their definition of "woman" is "thing I want to fuck".

And. yes, this applies to women who do this too. They also generally hate other women and think of themselves as one of the "good ones" who do whatever men want. Given how Boebert excuses the shit her husband has done, she is very much a "pick me".

Should start saying he pardoned "antifa" or whatever conservatives were calling them to distance themselves.

See, for me hunger is an all consuming distraction. There have been very few times I get so hyper focused I forget to eat.

Medication helps, but I still get hungry and crave chocolate.

I'm sorry, but when someone's "enlightened centrism" is between queer people having rights and getting murdered in the street I don't really care about your other options. You are a facists enabler at that point.

Literally the main reason I'm on blahaj zone is because I'm a trans lesbian and really don't want to deal with the shit I've seen on the blocked instances.

The whole point of the fediverse is you join one that aligns with your values and queer phobic stuff is a hard line nope from me. It's like the one place I feel reporting stuff actually does something.

The big corps have always had a right wing bias. The corps bend over backwards to cator to these asshats while shitting all over the left.

There's a reason this stuff thrives on places like Facebook and will continue to do so. They also want a platform that has the widest reach.

It's why they want to be in the big sites instead of making their own because they want the rest of us to see their nonsense. There may not end up being a big hate presence on fedi stuff because any right wing instances will be broadly blacklisted either by the instances or by the users.

Some women might lust over this, but that's not why they are put there. They are the male power fantasy and are added for the benefit of the guys that watch it.

There's a reason most straight women find Loki more attractive than Thor and I've seen guys completely blindsided by that because they see everything through the male gaze.
