Mine was very very wrong
Oh geez. Definitely NOT the episode I was expecting. Rather than coming to a resolution, everything becomes far more convoluted.
Seems Liz was completely unaware of her Charm ability. Due to Liz's mixed emotions in trying to be the ideal Saint, the Charm effect went haywire. It definitely makes it seem like Liz was a tragic figure. But what was with the ancient book changing once Liz possessed it?
Liz was so quick to dismiss her feelings for Duke despite the fact she was so distraught it made her golden rose wilt.
And right when Alicia is ready to express how she feels for the Prince...
For once, the Prince isn't acting creepy... and yet it's still creepy that he doesn't remember Alicia.
I suspect the book changed when Liz received it to reveal more Saintly secrets and Liz is now using that power to win Duke by making him forget about Alicia but that's really all conjecture on my part. I really wasn't expecting this turn of events.
Called it. Noel totally recruited Leon.
He also pulled all the strings from the specific monster they were going to fight to forcing the Winged Knights to disband. I also figured he was going to change their name, since Blue Beyond was the party he basically sold into slavery. Wild Tempest wasn't something I expected though. Sounds like something you'd see in Slime Isekai.
As a fan of the show, I'm always surprised by how bunny girl never gets cold.
Loner Life Isekai
I just binged this. It was better than I expected but that's only because I wasn't expecting much. I think I agree that it doesn't really deserve a Season 2. Not because it was bad but because by the end of Season 1 it's no longer Loner Life. Like the whole premise is that he has trash skills and is a loner. By the end he's OP and not a loner. And they've exhausted a lot of the unique story elements such as the wall of skills and the cheat skills so moving forward it would just be generic isekai.
Oh yeah. It starts out very dark and then it's all sunshine and laughter afterwards. Makes you wonder why they dropped to that tone in the first place.
Now that the 86 is powered up with a Turbo we're given another weakness: the gearbox. Paddle shifters are just superior, which allows Sawatari to best Kanata's time, but only barely. He's none-too-happy about that.
Seeing all these smaller, less powerful, more agile cars doing well in MFG, Yanagida switches from the M6 to an M4.
The Supra also qualifies for the main race. In predictable fashion, Beckenbaur then ones again breaks the course record and takes pole.
Then the drama happens. Rei buys Kanata a traffic safety charm but then gets jealous when she sees the charm Nozomi got him. They get in a fight and she runs off but collapses onto the train tracks from exhaustion. Kanata dives in to save her but injures his left elbow in the process.
Shifting was already going to be a weakness with the 86 but now it's going to be even worse!
Eurobeat Track: The Snake - Freedom Ride (Eurobeat Version)
Damn, what a cool episode. Sure, most of it was just Rei being a shy adorable girl in Psyger-0's body, but that sudden reveal at the end... I didn't expect a rematch with Lycagon so soon! Knowing Pencilgon, she did this knowing full well that Animalia would hunt down Lycagon's whereabouts for them.
I enjoyed season 1 even if some parts were cliche
Created an Ani.Social account SPECIFICALLY to talk about this episode. OMG, what a masterpiece of animation and storytelling.
At the start, we care very little about Acrobatic Silky. At the end of the episode, we care about Acrobatic Silky so much it brings tears to our eyes. All without lengthy dialogue or any narrative exposition. And the visuals... just mindblowing.
So much media uses cheap tricks to try to convey drama or pull at the audience's heartstrings. Dan Da Dan achieves it with quality storytelling.
I hate that I know exactly what this is from...
Suzu and Kanade will always be together.
