From: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/trump-indictment-2020-election-b2385934.html

Prosecutors allege that Mr Trump had six co-conspirators, including five attorneys. That group of lawyers is understood to include Jeffrey Clark, a former Trump administration Justice Department official who the ex-president tried to install as acting attorney general, “Kraken” lawyer Sidney Powell, and disgraced former law professor John Eastman, who is currently facing disbarment for his role in Mr Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

This is the second federal indictment brought by the special counsel actually.

I also use the mobile UI. When I browse through a new community from another instance (but through my home instance) I just expand the sidebar at the top, and use the subscribe button there. No need to copy/paste the community handle.

Yes, your single Fediverse account created at one Lemmy instance can post, comment, vote on other Lemmy instances

I assume you wouldn't need to sign up. If you already have a FB or Instagram account, you would just be able to log in directly

Ah okay. That makes more sense. And the SAE approval happened recently?

It's surprising how fast the dominos are falling ever since GM announced they will use NACS. Were these state decisions already being made recently and just happened to be announced around this time? I just find it hard to believe that state government institutions were able to meet and decide on this so quickly otherwise.

Oh it does? And with those forums you can vote content up to make them more visible? I thought it was just an endless stream in various channels.

Also -- unless I am missing something here, with Discord you are seeing posts in a strictly chronological order. Yes, you can like and react to posts, but that won't bubble and auto-curate great content to the top. I was once in a very popular Discord and the amount of random posts filling up the feed made me leave it after some time.

So I am standing during rush hour today on a busy subway platform, and over the loudspeaker you hear a 10-second audio ad about the new Indiana Jones movie along with the music and everything.

I understand the MTA needs to make some revenue, but yikes this has gone a little bit too far. It's a fairly loud and disruptive. I hope this is only an experiment and not to stay.

The Boost developer has been unusually quiet on this entire scenario. It's possible he might not be shut down?

Or rather it's a lot harder to bring back users and make them stay if all they can see are sexy pictures of John Oliver
