Slap a Redmi logo on the back instead and I wouldn't even question it.

TL;DR - You have to install a malicious app that pretends to be something else, then the app will try trick you into installing another APK (to which you have to specifically agree), and then your phone gets malware.

I mean, I'm not saying it's pointless, because even of it's to send a message, sanctions are worth it. Sanctions are also clearly destroying the rubble. It's a huge blow to Russia. But until there's a huge blow to PUTIN, not much is going to change. This bitch is never gonna go hungry, never gonna feel cold, never gonna have to budget between a better insurance plan or a bigger place to live. His astronomical savings are untouchable. If these were ever at risk, then itdtbe a blow to him. What's one less yacht?

Those are the ones you see. How do you tell a Ukrainian from your own countrymen on a bus? They're not all rich, they're not all assholes, they are where they are because they wanted to stay alive. And so would you if you were in their shoes, you dense fuck.

Dedicated PC room considered harmful. Be part of your family even if you're ignoring them with your headphones on. Put in the work and manage your cables so the setup looks presentable. Get a nice looking chair and not a Gamer Chair. Get furniture.

You just made me realize something. Before I moved out I had my PC in my room and I'd spend an unhealthy amount of time there. After I moved to live with my girlfriend, I had no option for a room where I would be isolated with my PC. So it's in a shared space, I can game just as comfortably, but the fact that I'm not isolated makes me pause the game every so often and just talk to my girlfriend.

I don't game that much anyway these days, not addicted or anything, but even when I do immerse myself, there's always this impulse to take a break and socialize.

It looks like a malformed Urus. Out of proportion.

Porsche did it right with Taycan, it's an elongated 911 (or a modified Panamera which is an elongated 911).

Lamborghini cut the height of the Urus instead of adding length to a Huracan.

Edit: thanks all for your input, I've taken all the input and tried to find a better proces 850W PSU, but given the current discount on the 1000W be quiet! there is just nothing else beating that deal, so I've gone with that.

My current setup is an i5-12400F + RTX 3060 Ti, 2x8GB 2666 MHz, 2x 2TB 3,5" HDD, 1x 1TB NVMe, 3 case fans, 1 air cooler, 0 RGB.

All PSU calculators tell me 650W is just enough and 750W is a comfortable headroom.

Right now I have an aging Seasonic S12 II 620W PSU that causes no issues as far as powering the system goes, I've had absolutely no problems with it whatsoever in the 5 years I've had it (started on an older, much less power hungry configuration). Except one thing. I'm pushing it close to its limits and the fan is going, it's LOUD. I can't stand hearing it over the gameplay.

So I've decided to upgrade and get something that will be suitable for my inevitable cpu+gpu upgrade a few years down the road.

My choices come down to two PSUs:

  1. be quiet! Pure Power 12 M 1000W 80 Plus Gold ATX 3.0
  2. Corsair RM850x 850W 80 Plus Gold

There's a sale right now and they are priced almost the same at around 135€. The sale does not apply to an 850W variant of the Pure Power 12 M, making it and the 1000W the same price at this moment.

At first glance it looks like I should go for the 1000W be quiet, more headroom for the same price, but idk, Corsair might be more.. reliable? Both have 10 year warranties. Both are overpowered for what my components require, and that's exactly the point. I want this shit to be silent even if I'm pushing it.

Is there a better choice I should consider? Also, if the price on sale isn't as attractive as you'd expect, we get crap deals all around in my country so that's that.

That makes a terrifying amount of sense and I never looked at this issue from the angle you presented. God damn it, fucking capitalism.

35 dollars is way less than what I expected. Once you open the possibility to donate, you should have no problems getting that funding from the community. I'll be happy to chip in! No need to ping me specifically, I'll see the announcement for sure.

Keep doing the good work, I (and others for sure too) appreciate it!

How are you guys doing financially? Are you in need of donations for servers?

Appreciate the answers, and can definitely understand colors were the least of your interest haha. But since you did mention "hinge, crease, software", I'm going to ask about that (if you don't mind). In MKBHD's video I noticed the foldable a don't really open fully flat. More like 179.5°. Is that camera distortion, or maybe a faulty device that Marques had a hands-on with? Or is it just a drawback of the hinges with teardrop creasing display, just like is the case with the Pixel Fold?

Questions to both (or either)

  1. Does any device presented today feel like a meaningful upgrade? I can't remember the last time everything was so incremental. Even the bigger outer screen on the Flip 5 is just that, bigger screen. It's still a limited set of widgets, only this time bigger. How much difference does that make?

  2. Is the s-pen case for the Fold 5 actually something that's usable? Or does it make the whole device an unwieldy brick?

  3. Does the dock with up to 4 recent apps on the Fold 5 feel more useful and convenient, or rather overwhelming and cluttered?

  4. What color variants do you see there for all those devices? Which do you like the most?
