It's an independent left leaning and credible news media organization that is anti the Israeli government.

You would know that if you actually were educated on the region and paid attention.

You can see the video and he wasn't tortured.

Huffing gas doesn't make you any more right.

It's almost like there's literally hundreds of these deflectors spilling the beans now.

Another BS analysis. Facts don't like the feelings of these reporters.

One of the tunnel rooms had a recent air conditioning installation deep under ground.

International media coverage has been trash and doesn't even bother anymore.

After the Shifa hospital director bold faced lied about the generator configuration why should anyone take their denials seriously. The IDF left 300L of fuel for them to run their (N) ICU which according to openly published research on their hospital would run their two generators for over a day. The currently under arrest director claimed it would barely last 30 minutes. There's another hospital director now on record about the hospitals being used for torture and command centers. There's also security footage of hostages being brought back to Shifa. Several hostages' bodies were recovered from the Shifa complex area.

Not to mention it's been a fact Shifa was used like this for going on 10 years if not longer. Western media only pays attention when there's Qatari ad money floating around.

https://www.timesofisrael.com/gaza-hospital-director-admits-hamas-used-medical-complex-as-operational-hub/ here's it on a record that international news media doesn't even bother to watch before publishing libelous bull shit to get literal slave state Ad dollars.

Most schools are integrated. There's no seperate busses or restrictions.

America has issues with home owners associations too. It also has religious schools. Ever hear about redlining or looking at a ethnicity map of a city like Chicago or Detroit?

Israeli Arab travel is not restricted inside of Israel. You are probably thinking of the west bank.

Btw Israeli jews aren't allowed into parts of the west bank and Jerusalem either.

Literally 75% of Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza choose it as the explicit genocide option on a survey that Includes one state for two people as an option. This is a poll done by a Palestinian university in the west bank, claiming its Israeli propaganda would be pretty stupid.

https://www.awrad.org/files/server/polls/polls2023/Public%20Opinion%20Poll%20-%20Gaza%20War%202023%20-%20Tables%20of%20Results.pdf

The gas lighting is intense. The charitable take that people are ignorant just says a lot about their knowledge of the region and the conflict.

'48 Palestinians in Israel also are full citizens https://www.timesofisrael.com/amid-war-poll-finds-arab-israelis-sense-of-kinship-with-state-at-a-20-year-high/ their situation has vastly improved and labeling it apartheid is ignorance. That label can only apply to Gaza and the West Bank and arguably then even when compared with actual apartheid. There are Arabs in parliament, on the Supreme Court, and in the highest ranks of the IDF. Like fuck, Benny Gantz, one of the three ministers in the war cabinet, was shit talking in Arabic during the ceasefire because Israelis learn Arabic in school too. A significant number of the troops killed in Gaza are Druze, another minority Abrahamic faith that speaks Arabic with a large minority population in Israel. Highest standard of living for their minority in the region. There's a movement since the war started to enshrine them in Israel's Basic Law (constitution).

Two five star hotels isn't something you find in a prison.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Beach_Resort,_Gaza

Also 70% of jews in Israel, half the population are native jews not Europeans of any kind.

Of the 20% Arab population, as many that live in Gaza, 70% identify with Israel over Palestine. A historic high that increased after weeks of war. Calling them colonizers is inaccurate and insulting levels of racism.

The life expectancy in Gaza was actually 75 years, whatever 40 number you saw is misinformation. They had an average amount of hospitals and medical clinics per capita. There's a lot of kids because people have a lot of kids. Why the population has ballooned.

They also managed to get phones and other resources in. Almost like it wasn't really a full blockade. Lots would go to work in Israel before the latest war.

Literally go watch the videos of journalists in the tunnels. Nothing will change your mind.

Literally go watch the footage.

It's easy and cheap using smuggled concrete not doable in days with functional air conditioning systems.

It takes time to disarm a possibly booby trapped tunnel and avoid potentially collapsing the buildings with civilians on top. It takes time to do an investigation of a crime scene.

They use a specific type of cement piece construction they developed over time to let them build tunnels quickly for cheap. It's been documented historically and proudly by Hamas.

It's the shape of the stone arches and the smaller U shaped pieces in the shaft that tell you it wasn't Israeli built.

13 women mostly convicted of stabbings.

Edit: 33 women are on the list of 300 total, I counted the Hebrew source material myself. 15+ is of those with stabbing charges and convictions or general attempted murder.

Overwhelming majority of minors did fucked up shit.

Palestinians in Gaza have been offered citizenship, relocation for their families, and a financial reward to snitch on Hamas.

Hamas is very popular unfortunately. Still hundreds, maybe thousands now, of collaborators including the family of its leadership.

Oh yea also your numerical comparison is more like 1/50 are Hamas fighters or directly involved. We (as in everyone native to the region) have big families with lots of kids which is why the population demographics look like they do. My grandma was 1 of 12 siblings. The guy I linked is 1 of 9. But as the guy I linked said the kids are taught and expected that being a militant fighter is a noble goal so a few young men in each family end up becoming fighters with family support.

[-] LaLiLuLuCo@lemmy.ca 7 points 2 years ago* (last edited 2 years ago)

Plenty of Hamas in the west bank including one of their leaders I know of. They are more popular than Fatah in a lot of places.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mosab_Hassan_Yousef this guy's father. Him and his brother are speaking out against Hamas. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwvsrybklf8 https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cy4Im6KPs7O/

I can't get an electrician and contractor to come install one (as an AC mainly) inside of 6 months, and I've been trying to find one for 6 months.

The heat is actually killing me I can't sleep and have other health problems. I brought a dual hose unit from the US with me I'm running on a voltage converter and it's the only thing keeping my apartment livable.
