As someone else said, reproducible builds is a great mitigating factor for this secret changes. Firefox does have telemetry, but is very transparent and lets you turn it all off (as far as I can tell anyway). Don't want ads? Easy. Don't want Mozilla services? Simple.
100% recommend moving off firefox's password manager, as it's generally much more insecure than something like Bitwarden
Let's be 100% clear, all of these cars with "smart" features are collecting your data and selling it. Insurance companies are also buying this information and using it to raise premiums if they determine you a "bad driver." Also this could reveal info such as where you live if anyone is determined enought depending on the info if stores (such as geolocation data).
