Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. It's fast, reliable, has amazing battery life and IMHO it's handsome as hell.

The last phone I had was a Pixel 3A which was amazing for what it was, so I got myself a Pixel 7a to see if it was comparable.

I love the fun software on the Pixel 7A, it is great as a work phone [the Google assistant interfaces with phone calls in ways that are mind-blowing] but I mostly find myself on the S22U.

Zero complaints on either, but if I had to choose just one, I'd stick to the S22U if I could afford it.

Does anyone know if using Boost for Reddit right now will hurt Ruben? I will uninstall it immediately if that's the case.

So, does this mean that using boost right now will hurt the developer? I'll uninstall it now if that's the case.

I think the solution lies in deleting their photos. For a multitude of reasons. I'm almost at the point, personally. I don't need to see that face anymore, ya know? It's been years.

ADHD and math (lemmy.one)
submitted 1 year ago by Havoc@lemmy.one to c/adhd@lemmy.world

Did anyone else have a weird experience with math? I could always do it in my head, really fast, get the answer, it's correct... But then I couldn't show my work or prove it, meaning it was useless. I'm curious if this is an ADHD thing? If so, does anyone know why?

Definitely. I think the fact that there aren't many people here makes it feel a lot more worthwhile, to a degree. Maybe it's easier to recognize specific users? Or easier to feel like your perspective will actually be seen. Whatever it is, I welcome it.

Negative, I am a meat-popscicle!

I ticked the wrong box, I thought it was asking if I wanted to be able to see bot posts. I thought it meant like automods and stuff like that

This community feels a lot more thoughtful than most, doesn't it? I have enjoyed reading everyones perspective immensely. I try to comment but honestly, I feel like most of the comments are so well thought-out that I don't have a lot to add. It's nice.

I got home a week ago and don't plan on calling her for a while. I am still pissed off.

Sheesh, I don't blame you.

I think it's important to note [while not disagreeing with you] that the majority of people are exhausted right now. They're working more hours for less buying power, their social lives are riddled with new anxieties and barriers of entry, their preconceived notions are being challenged in new ways. It might seem like a small service to change your online habits, but for many people I believe it's natural to freeze when faced with this type of dilemma. "I'd rather embrace the evil I know" type of thing.

I'm excited for this platform and to see where it goes! I think it's a good fit for me. And a part of why it's a good fit for me lies in the fact that the people who are here are the type of people to take the plunge and try something new (even if there's a learning curve).
