I think that it depends on the person. I've heard of enough people who voted for Donald because they like that he "says it like it is", or "he's a businessman", or because they just want lower taxes. Some people are so exposed to rage-bait social media/news content and are always being told what to be afraid of and they vote emotionally based on that fear. My grandfather votes the way he does because he's TERRIFIED of immigrants, even legal ones - because all he does is sit and watch fox news. I think most often, people are busy with their lives, paying their bills, taking care of their kids, etc. and don't have a lot of energy left over for politics. People treat voting like it's team sports. A ton of people voted for Donald because they thought tariffs were paid by the other country, not American businesses. I don't exactly blame people, it's a lot of information and life is probably a lot more relaxed for people that don't follow it.
I will never stop recommending Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Madoka Magika.
I think you'll miss out on a lot of great games thinking that way! Sometimes needing to commit time into a game is where a lot of the value comes from in its experience, and persona is one of those series.
You really haven't established that that's the case. Wherever you protest, you're getting visibility and costing the state money to manage.
I went to fedi to avoid big corporations and what they've done with social media. Why would I want their platform having access to my posts? I don't trust meta or any of the other big tech companies. In fact, the main mastodon instance I use blocks threads entirely and that's one of the reasons I joined it.
The meat people eat is produced by killing animals. That's exactly what is being done, on insane scale. Billions of animals being treated as products.
I don't make very much money, and the phones I buy are usually between $100-200. The only way to do that with iphone is to get a phone that's both old and used. There's no new options in that price range at all. However, even if there was, or if I just bought used, it doesn't offer me any benefit to swap. My experience with ios was never very good back when I did use it, it restricts how you can use your phone really heavily. I love being able to install apps from F-droid or my web browser, and changing launchers gives you a lot of customization of your home screen. I also really value that once your android device isn't supported with software updates anymore, the community can still develop up to date android versions for those devices so you can use newer versions of android than the manufacturers intended
Simple answer: there's no such thing as 100% secure. Even completely offline, encrypted networks can be compromised. You're probably fine though.
I highly recommend one piece.
Skip work and take a nap all day
I have earrings because I like the way they look. That's really all I mean, earrings are sexy. I don't really see how there's an issue with expressing that.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to leave the US, but I'm just trying to avoid homelessness at this point - I can't financially afford to pack up my life and move to another country. I can't even afford to get a passport. I'm mentally preparing for the incoming tariffs I suppose, it's possible I'll have to get a second job when they hit just to be able to like eat instant noodles every day. I'm trans, and do worry about what that will mean for my safety under this administration. Tension is high, there's a lot of anti-trans propaganda being spread - and being totally honest we cannot ignore the possibility of concentration camps (especially with how much donald wants to deport every immigrant). The US has been fascist for a long fucking time, but now they're saying all the quiet parts out loud.
