I live in an area know for having some of the better public transport in the states. My drive to work is about 25 minutes. I can bus to work, but it takes almost three hours and three separate busses, and then I cannot bus home after work.

People's value doesn't lie in their ability to perform labor. Being "useful" isn't important. What should be done, is that everyone should have their needs met so they can do with their lives what they want. There's a lot of theoretical ways to try and do that, but none of them are of interest in a capitalist society.

I disagree. My phone has perfectly acceptable battery life and a 3.5mm jack, I use it all day and get home with over 40% left every day. I need the jack to use my earbuds at work, and to listen to music in my car - and I'm gonna be honest with you something as small as an adapter WILL get lost by me. Everyone's got a different use case, and it might not be important for you, but your use case isn't everyone's.

Yeah, but you really don't have to engage with every oblivion gate you see. There's a lot of really great quest lines to engage with, but the main story is one of the least interesting the game has to offer.

The Java version runs natively on Linux, and you can mod the game as well. If you're playing bedrock edition, then getting it working might be a little more complicated.

I think it's important to question the idea that the US has "always rejected fanaticism". Sure, our state doesn't want to be viewed that way. I just think that looking at our history shows a lot of fanatic shit, from the way settlers treated the native population, to all of our conflicts in the 1900's to now.

I prefer the headphone jack is on the bottom, next to the charging port. That way, I can put the ports down while my phone is in my pocket if i'm working, so nothing gets into the ports. Then, if I'm just keeping my phone in my pocket normally, with the ports up, my headphones can plug in without problems.

We have enough homes for everyone to have their own home, but a very large number of people rent or are homeless. Big corporations buy up all the property and convert it to rentals so even those who can afford to buy property have a very hard time finding anything, and what's available has jacked up prices. We're talking people like blackrock. THOSE people can burn in hell, those people are taking advantage of every single person who rents from them. It's a scale, you know. Blackrock is evil - my grandpa who rents out his old house is not, even if I disagree with the fact that he's renting at all. Charging someone enough to pay the mortgage and give you a paycheck is well... I mean it's demanding more money than what the property is worth from someone. They'd be better off without you there as a middle-man. At best you're taking advantage of a small number of people, at worst you're literally blackrock. There's no reason a single person should not have their own home, because we already have enough homes to go around.
