He's been slammed! Now his reign is finally over!

The first I heard of Taylor Swift's engagement, was CNN asking Trump for his reaction. His reaction was "I wish them luck".

This is probably fake but there legit are scammers doing that sort of thing. There was a case of scammers calling grandparents and saying their grandchildren needed bail money

Everyone I personally know in the Untied States who could vote, I'm pretty sure voted for Kamala Harris

If you ever think voting is pointless....remember how dangerously close we were to having Poilievre as prime minister

What about States rights?

Would be funny if NORAD's Santa tracker says Santa was denied entry into the Untied States. Except I wouldn't want to upset the children.

Oust the entire government and start from scratch

[-] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 10 points 6 days ago

But do they believe that's a bad thing?

And why, pray tell, will he be needing immunity if he won't be doing anything wrong?

The World Cup is gonna be a shitshow if it isn't canceled altogether

Yes, I support it. Science has shown the government can afford it and it will save them money in the long run. If society has the resources to ensure everyone's basic needs are met, do it.

The argument against it is that people won't work if they aren't forced to. I think people want to work. This would enable people to have their basic needs met first so they can build a career comfortably.

I believe it should happen and I believe it eventually will happen in Canada, but it will take a lot longer than it should.

They make laws that claim to be for everybody but are only for people who aren't rich or powerful. The rich and powerful can commit bribery, human trafficking, murder, and more without consequence but yet jail people for doing the same thing. It's like parents who swear all the time but punish their children for swearing.

I'm not completely indifferent. If I were completely indifferent, I'd never watch the movie even if it does get made. I will watch the movie if it gets made. But if it doesn't get made, I won't care much. I'm only mostly indifferent.

I'm really not as much of a fan as I used to be. I used to be pretty obsessed. Now, I still watch every Star Wars thing that comes out and I still marathon the movies in May, I just don't have the same level of investment as I used to
