A brewmaster brewing beer at local brewery club about 2016, boiling mash in a large kettle. I used to go to this club in the 2010s, and I still come by from time to time. To those who hasnt tasted it, homebrewed beer (may) taste better than the ones you buy in the shop or bar.

I like some times to make photos from political manifestations. This is from Oslo, probably 2013, protest in support of russian political activists group Pussy Riot, outside of Russian embassy.
I have high admiration of the actions that Pussy riot and before that Vojna did when they where active. Respect to them!
Photo is with Lomo fisheye compact camera, a quite unique and somewhat soft look. Its a circular fisheye with a very basic viewfinder, so a bit hit or miss!

I once went out with a woman, it was in Berlin, mid-2010s. She worked in banking, and perhaps we didnt have so much in common to talk about. But I had my camera with me, and I could at least fill some time by using it, and perhaps also hiding behind it. I think, as a sequence of photos, these work okay.

This is a frame I am happy with, even though it is a bit messy. The woman is a norwegian artist, she is now a known public person but this is from earlier in her career, possibly during studies, 2012 or 2013. I like the thoughtful look in her eyes.

Artist couple Hanan Benamer and Mathias Cantzler at art event Winter Solstice in december 2013. They where among the main organizers of this event which occurred almost yearly in Oslo throughout the 2010s.
Here it also works well to use a fisheye lens, the curvature of the image works well in this frame.

In the 2010s it was a bustling city with a lot of artists and freelancers from various countries because of its low prices for living - really quite a unique experience. Eventually the city became very expensive, and now all of that athmosphere and peopla are gone i think,

Its been so long ago I was there, and also the currency situation changed so much - but i think it was about 2 or 3 rubles pr minute.
In st petersburg in the 2010s, there where some cafes that had you pay to stay by time, instead of for what you ate or drank. This is one, Tsiferblat, was located in the city centre right next to the main street. I went there some times, they had a nice athmosphere and hospitable staff and also in evenings events (such as boardgames).
We dont have cafes like this in oslo (it would be a nice concept for someone to start), but lately boardgamecafes became quite popular and they have a bit similar style, you pay to stay there for the whole evening.
