I used to have an account on the PB many years ago, but my credentials are no good anymore. I'd like to post some movie and TV show dumps somewhere, particularly that'll be indexed by Torrentio and searchable to debrid users, but I'm having trouble finding anywhere with open signups. I'm specifically uploading English media.

I was using Firefox back when it was cool. And now it'll be cool again.

I won't lie, I got excited for a moment there because I thought that it was actually a gameboy advance game.

Is it possible to learn this power?

There are many games that I loved and would enjoy playing for the first time, but I'm going to pick Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga. My reason being that I spent the vast majority of the game waiting for it to morph into a spiritual successor of Super Mario RPG back when I first played it, rather than giving it a chance to stand on its own as a unique and hilarious game. My preconceived idea of what I hoped the game would be really hurt my initial enjoyment of it.

For a runner up, I'll mention Kirby's Dream Land 3. In the days of Blockbuster rentals, I'd rented Kirby Super Star first, so it took me a while to get used to the more traditional Kirby powerup system where copied abilities only do one type of action each.

For some reason, I just remembered a webcomic that I used to enjoy reading ages ago called The Count Mickey Dragul by twisted-wind on Deviantart. It was a gothic setting where Mickey Mouse was a vampire. I went looking for it today but it looks like the author deleted all of their uploads on deviantart. I did find a single volume that someone uploaded to imgur here. DId anyone happen to archive the other two volumes? I'm sure the author had their reasons for deleting everything, but I'd be sad if this became lost media.

It’s only one book, but in my childhood I read Wizard’s Hall by Jane Yolen, which takes place in a magical school.

First you need Testflight, which is an app you can use to test apps in development, even before they’re in the App Store. Then you come back to the message that you replied to and click open the Avalon app in the TestFlight app to accept the invitation to test it. Then you can install it from TestFlight.

Ouch. Wish I’d been lucky enough to own a whole bitcoin.

I don’t think there’s a good way to accomplish this on a governmental level. But personally, I would’ve liked to not be exposed to it when I was.

Same. I know a little about Linux, but if I’m installing on a laptop or something where wired internet isn’t a good option and there’s no discernible cli tools installed to help configure/fix WiFi, that’s too arcane for my blood.

Although the first Pebble watches were released all the way back in 2013, their sleek, efficient design makes them a viable companion to modern smartphones to this day. But since the company that developed them (Pebble Technology, Corp.) is long gone and the companion app is no longer readily available, new and returning Pebble fans may be at a loss of how to get started. Thankfully, the greater Pebble community is alive and well, and many resources are available.

Rebble is a community-run service the replaces the old Pebble Web Services and keeps things smart and customizable. If you already have the Pebble app installed on your phone, you can tap here to switch over to Rebble.

If you don't have the app yet and can't redownload it, you can find download links and information for sideloading it on iPhone here or Android here.

If you're interested in developing your own watchfaces or apps for Pebble, check here.

Looking for more community resources? Stop by the Rebble Discord Server, Rebble Twitter account, or the Pebble community on Reddit.

I didn’t think it would be this nice, but it’s really helpful when browsing All to see quickly which similar-named communities I’m already subscribed to, and to block communities that I already know I’ll want to block without even seeing the sidebar.

I’d kind of like the ability to see which instance a community belongs to alongside the subscribe and block buttons. For example, there’s an instance full of interesting communities full of content, but it’s all posted by a bot based on content from Reddit. (I just blocked the bot account, but still.)

Also joined lemm.ee after lemmy.one went missing. Wish I’d made backups of the communities I was following but it’s going well so far.
