It's my opinion that every Russian ambassador, consul, and staffer thereof is most likely a spy of one variety or another, doing harm to their host countries. They seem incapable of good faith diplomatic relations.
Been hoarding some GOG offline installers in my spare time.
GOG infrastructure is just not as robust, I think. I've had some luck downloading during non-peak hours (morning and afternoon weekdays), but it's still slow in comparison to Steam.
In addition to some alleged incongruity of the evidence, I think a lot of people actually think he did it but they want him to get away with it/don't think what he did was wrong, and throwing mud in the water is a way to show support for him, albeit a somewhat disingenuous one.
Because a plurality of Americans are equally crass, ignorant, selfish, and evil.
To be fair, that was always on Army grounds and presumably they just didn't want to be bothered to retrieve it at the time. Because it was Super Heavy. And also a dead-end preproduction prototype of no practical value.
The BSA wasn't Hitler Youth outright while I was in, but there is definitely a "God, Duty, Country" vibe that other scouting organizations around the world left behind or never adopted in the first place. Conservatives liked that, and they hated that they had been making a slow march towards more progressive and less nationalist policy that I bet only hastened after the sexual assault lawsuits bankrupted the national organization.
Hegseth is probably doing this to either pressure Scouting into regressing, or to weaken Scouting in order to spin up a Trump Youth later. There is no shortage of conservative dads unhappy with modern Scouting that would love either outcome.
Right on its face, is it even legal to collect head shots of minors? I know US privacy laws are a joke but there's usually some carve outs that protect minors.
One or two bullets may have exited the torso then into an arm or vice-versa, it happens. He is most likely being literal. "I shot her so good I got more hits than I fired shots."
The injury was to the ego and authority - of the entire apparatus, not one man. They're all anxious to bring retribution and remind everyone that the enforcer class is above them and demands your cowering deference.
That's what any demographic shift does. Wealthy republicans carpetbag on occasion too, though not as often. The problems of red states can largely be overcome with personal wealth, so they tend to stay where they're politically comfortable.
Another thing is that blue-staters tend to have more buying power than red-staters, so they get butthurt about being priced out of real estate instead of realizing that their relative poverty is the direct consequence of republican policy. 20 states still have a $7.25 minimum wage, guess which ones.
Vibes-based policy. Republicans hate when people from blue states move to red states, even if they are republicans. They think they bring the liberal stink with them and fuck things up for everyone else.
They'll eat this up, regardless of how little sense it makes.
"Operators" is also an interesting way to describe their officers/agents. They're trying to conflate themselves with the military, specifically special operations.
