3000K 90cri.

My brain never thought about having a 7070 in a KR1 but wow it's a good host for this output monster emitter.

There was also a GT94 there. They looked pretty even until the GT94 stepped down after a couple minutes, then it was the A1's show the rest of the way.

I feel like I cheated because I looked at Vanna.

I've only had this light for one week and I already adore it. It came to me with a sliced 70.3 HD, beautiful CCT and tint. Of course the beam is also stellar. Thanks Artie!

I'll have to retake some beamshots tonight. Boo hoo ๐Ÿคฃ

White wall hunting.

Dog walking.

This is the light that helped me rescue the kitten a few weeks back. The 70.3 HD from KaiDomain came in and was installed without any trouble. About the most simple swap imaginable actually.

The 70.3 HD is maybe a little brighter but I honestly think it's a trick of the better tint. The original 70.2 was GREEEEEEN. This guy has some tint shift at the lowest level, barely any at medium, and no perceptible shift at high. It's quite a pleasant looking beam. I would recommend upgrading to the 70.3 if you have a light you like with a 70.2 in it.

These are great for transporting precious cargo.

I bought this one during their Father's Day sale last year.

Room enough for a beastly throw & flood combo, with space to spare.

I don't know what emitters they are exactly. I tried to take it apart enough to see but when I got down to where appeared to be glued I had to stop. Hospital property and all that.

Alright I'm convinced. I've been using just uBlock but I'll give sponsorblock a try.

I have been lusting over the Synergy 2 for a year and a half and one has finally come my way.

I immediately picture the scene from Saving Private Ryan. That glass gave everything it had to send something flying away from her!

My fellow lantern aficionados, we call ourselves Dietz nuts.

Okay, true story. We had a meetup of flashlight nerds at a state park with a lake. This was the third or fourth time. Apparently the park closes at sundown but we never had an issue and I for one never saw that rule posted anywhere. But this time two police SUVs roll up on us. When they asked what we were doing and we all answered something along the lines of "showing off our flashlights!" they were flumaxed. It took handing them a GT90 before they believed us. In the end they let us stay for as long as we wanted because we were being respectful of where we were and nobody who's up to no good would use "flashlight meetup" as a cover story.

I don't think that story will help you out but hopefully picturing that interaction makes you chuckle and I wish you all the best in your nighttime hikes.

The best flashlight is the one that you will use instead of using your cellphone.

I got my lady a Convoy S2+ for her to use at work. Come to find out a few months later she still always uses her phones light even when out in pastures after dark ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ.

So even a cheap AA light is better than the brightest D4S if the former is in your pocket and the latter stays in a bag or purse all the time.
