If this makes it safer for pedestrians and bicyclists, I’m all for it. It might even make driving downtown easier if the cars behind you aren’t expecting you to turn right on a red light. Turning on a green light means you really only have to focus mostly on the crosswalk.
Looks like it might be 9 full slices of bread. Maybe he didn’t want to miss the exact spot.
As someone who grew up on HP, there are way better books in the same genre out there anyway. The hype of Harry Potter is all just marketing from Warner Bros (they own most of the rights on merchandise).
If you want an actually good children’s/YA story about a young person learning magic and becoming the hero, try the Tiffany Aching subseries of Terry Pratchett’s Discworld novels. They are much better written than HP.
As if you all didn’t have stupid hobbies during COVID lockdowns.
Way back when, I had a Palm Pixie, which ran WebOS. While it wasn’t FOSS, if you turned on developer mode, you would have full terminal access to the Linux system it was running.
I think HP eventually made it open source and now LG uses it for their TVs. But that phone’s OS was one of the best ones I had seen at the time.
As a trans person, if either of them had enough estrogen to make any sort of meaningful impact on someone’s body, trans women would be drinking a gallon a day.
I sometimes wonder why anything is wrapped in plastic at all. So many products are wrapped in plastic for seemingly no other reason than to indicate that it’s unopened.
This is way cheaper than health insurance.
I think it’s a reference to r/fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu a very old, established subreddit for rage comics memes. Then when the trans meme subreddit became a thing, they copied the style of the name. Then they brought the same name over to Lemmy.
There are other subreddits with the same style name, like r/iiiiiiitttttttttttt for IT related memes.
I could be wrong, I wasn’t there for the formation of the /r/traa subreddit, but that’s my speculation.
I think that: sudo apt purge xfce4* sudo apt autoremove
should do it.
I’ll point out that the other answers here are also correct. It depends on how you want to clean it from your system.
“apt remove” will only remove the packages, not the config files
“apt purge” will remove the packages and config files
“apt autoremove” will clean up the orphaned dependencies
“xfce4” will only remove the DE
“xfce4*” will remove the DE and most of the other packages that come with xfce
Nah, I prefer the title without units. It allows me to imagine the oceans boiling, which would just cement Florida as being literal hell.
It’s like that in Montreal too. You aren’t allowed to turn right on red on the entire island. Driving sucks there without having to focus on the entire intersection at once, so it’s kind of nice to just have to wait your turn.
