But just enduring the current job also comes with a risk even in a country with strong labor laws. Not changing jobs comes with stagnation of skills and wages. I’ve heard plenty of stories of loyal employees who worked the same job for decades but who now earn less than the new hires and they are now at a point where switching jobs is hard since their skill set hasn’t improved for years. Risk averse people are also often too afraid to even renegotiate their wages. And bosses know that and exploit that.

Doesn’t excuse the use of illegal means to catch a mere lunch thief. Unless you hate your job and don’t mind getting fired.

I use a monospaced Comic Sans font for my code. It’s the most comfortable font for my eyes I’ve used for programming.

Yeah for every MGS4 there are hundreds of games on the level of E.T. There was a shit ton of crap flooding the market during the Atari era, because many publishers tried to crank out as many games as possible in a short time.

Still a snapdragon 750. I don’t mind paying a premium for this phone, but I definitely don’t want a hardware downgrade

Exactly the UI and the model/backend are properly separated if it follows a design pattern like MVC. So it would be pretty trivial to replace the Reddit API calls with Lemmy API calls. Except for the things that don’t exactly translate one on one.
