Plus he's gay so if he dies hell awaits, or so the evangelical worldview tends to go.

And if you have multiple prompts you just do a separate caching for each one?

I think this hinges on the system prompt going after the user prompt, for some router-related non-obvious reason, meaning at each model change the input is always new and thus uncacheable.

Also going by the last Claude system prompt that leaked these things can be like 20.000 tokens long.

I think mostly by websites colluding to track your browser's fingerprint so facebook/meta can maintain your behavioral profile and sell it back to them.

The insistence on blipping out anything even vaguely sexual (like the word orgasm) to appease the kami of the algorithm is really off putting after a while.

I thought he might be doing a bit but it doesn't feel like it. Also he speaks like old comic word balloons where they would randomly bold every third noun to show intensity.

Why make a true crime movie when you can do a heavily editorialized 'documentary' for a fraction of the price.

Also, Yud's kink is literally rape^1^, isn't it? Role playing non-consensual situations is fine and all, but this is a subculture where reporting sexual harassment is considered a possible infohazard^2^, and surely the utilitarian calculus in on the side of letting rationalists who do important work on existential risks have a go at you, imagine how many multiplujillion far future virtual entities of minimum moral status that might save.

Fuck a cult.

  1. He's openly declared himself a sexual sadist and writes stuff like this, and also math pets.

  2. Occupational Infohazards

In this case, in Ziz's previous interactions with central community leaders, these leaders encouraged Ziz to seriously consider that, for various reasons including Ziz's willingness to reveal information (in particular about the statutory rapes alleged by miricult.com in possible worlds where they actually happened), she is likely to be "net negative" as a person impacting the future. An implication is that, if she does not seriously consider whether certain ideas that might have negative effects if spread (including reputational effects) are "infohazards", Ziz is irresponsibly endangering the entire future, which contains truly gigantic numbers of potential people.

I hate being reminded that besides phrenology physiognomy is also a thing.

Wasn't that like his last post ever though?

Him not being an overt eugenics enthusiast while also not being the popular face of AI scientology probably helps ingratiate him to people here. Additionally, even though admittedly I haven't really bothered to revisit since he stopped posting like a decade ago, whatever overall sociopolitical agenda he might have had can't have been as glaringly obvious as siskind's, which can make for some inconsequential reading.

I see, thank you.

Companies probably actually need to curate down their documents so that simpler thinks work, then it doesn’t cost ever increasing infrastructure to overcome the problems that previous investment actually literally caused

Definitely, but the current narrative is that you don't need to do any of that, as long as you add three spoonfulls of AI into the mix you'll be as good as.

Then you find out what you actually signed up for is to do all the manual preparation of building an on-premise search engine to query unstructured data, and you still might end up with a tool that's only slightly better than trying to grep a bunch of pdfs at the same time.
