Nobody is really anything except the matter and energy that make them up. Labels are tools humans use to try to categorize things and make meaning when there is none.

Given that you aren't particularly drawn to most gendered terms, specifically ones that aren't gender-neutral enough, consider exploring the label "agender" for yourself. You could try it on and see what fits.

Sometimes a more blanket term like "queer" feels better to people.

A note that we can't wrap our entire being into a single word; there's too much of it to fit, and we're bound to over-pour the container. It can be more helpful to consider them as tags or attributes, not containers.

It's funny, but I forgot that my band MISSU KISSU had a song about genderfluidity. Well, it's more like a silly gay love song that uses genderfluidity as a pun, but yeah!

That's fair. It's not for everyone, and I don't think the character presented in it is necessarily mentally stable, but I relate to it a lot.

"I / Me / Myself" for sure. For a cis dude, Will Wood has done a ton of self-reflection his own gender identity.

Really, I just recommend anything by him.

It can help immensely to have a support network of individuals that you feel safe around to explore your identity with.

I had a group of online friends, mostly non-gender-confirming, when I opened up, and that I'm not sure I would've done it without them.

If you're not in that privileged position, you can always just start to explore your identity on your own, and intentionally visiting spaces where queer and non-gender confirming individuals frequent with the intent of making friends if that feels right.

One of the simplest ways you could start would be painting your finger nails, or getting your ears pierced. Whatever feels right.

The more you outwardly express your inner self, the more you'll attract others that align with you.

Build it and they will come!
