Man I was using Amazon prime because my server was down for maintenance and my search results didn't contain thr words I searched for until much lower in the results, then half the stuff needed extra subscriptions or had ads like what is the point
Same crap as Max and Netflix. It can't be coincidence.
There's a lot of problems with their service. They're missing a bunch of functionality that a lot of the other streaming platforms have like creating profiles, decent recommendations, and thumbs up/down. You also have to go through 50 iterations of TWD to get to anything, but they don't even have all of it (I'm not a fan, but I know a lot of folks are).
I know they're working on it, but it's definitely not there yet. They got a new head of engineering just a few months ago so I assume we'll start seeing some changes later this year.
Wait... Seriously what? That's literally the only reason to sub to AMC+ is this some kind of weird legal dispute?
Netflix has it through February 2025. Same with Better Call Saul, though that was weirder because it was on AMC+ while the final season aired but each episode only stayed up for about 4-5 weeks. Not sure of the rights on El Camino but that's a Netflix original.
I don’t even think AMC holds full rights to breaking bad and better call saul. I think those both lie with Sony, who’s made the shows.
HBO Max removed Westwood. One of their own and most popular shows. Gotta love it (not)
HBO Max removed Westworld because of David Zaslav. That's it.
Why?
He has a history of slashing diversity in his companies across the board.
Among the mass cancellations are shows featuring: PoC, women leads, LGBT+ topics and leads, animation, pretty much all of the Republican boogeymen.
“If David Zaslav had his wish, he would just program Chip and Joanna all day long,”
He wants everything to be HGTV and TLC bullshit. He wants to turn CNN into the next Fox News.
I guess Harley should be extremely popular that didn't got axed.
I'm guessing because he's horribly incompetent. I did a cursory Google search and the press is not good. There's even a change.org petition to get him to vacate his position.
The last of my media server parts should arrive today.... Yarr
Unfortunately, the popular shows are always getting passed around to different streaming services: Dunkey on Streaming Services

It's Monsieur Spade. And if you must know, I have no idea. Didn't even know the show existed.
It's a show about a retired Sam Spade, the detective from the Maltese Falcon.
So many comments could just boil down into ”🏴☠️? Yes, 🏴☠️"
Overall to me it seems more like:
When streaming services hear the word "sharing":
well, it's available on my Jellyfin server
That's actually a really good question. Who the fuck is the Muenster Spade?
I love Muenster cheese... I love German stuff. Gonna have to check out Muenster Spade. I hope it's good or so bad it's fun.
Update:
Google search and Lemmy is the 3rd result. The first is for Kate Spade and 2nd for dog poop scoop.
Final update: I now realize it's Monsignor Spade. 🤦
Spelling: monsieur spade OMG
Monte Cristo Sandwich.
Guess you're going to have to watch to find out.
Isn't it on Netflix?
Ive seen it airing on plex every now and then
I've seen it airing on my jellyfin
Depends on the country. Because obviously
I've always had American friends surprised that It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is on Netflix here (UK). Netflix also owned some of the Adult Swim licenses before Channel 4 got the catch-up rights to it.
I mean, I'm going to give Monsieur Spade a try. But not because of some shitty streaming service recommendation like this - that's terrible.
