That's a comfy-ass picture right there.

yeah it's been hot as hell here in MD too, I've basically only had cold coffee since June hit.
That looks wonderfully cozy. I want to start my day like that again at some point.
Nothing like a nice cup of hot milk to start the day, jk. It looks good, I never can do latte art correctly.
I’m partial to a cappuccino every once in a while but my diet keeps me to straight espresso most days.
No judgement here, it took quite literally a full year of daily practice before I could get any decent art
I won't even try, but remembering art class in school I could probably use any attempt as ad-hoc Rohrschach test 😅
Nice!
Too hot for that here, but I appreciate the effort. Iced cold brew for me, no milk, no sugar.
I need to get a good pitcher I haven’t been able to master art yet. I have the delonghi pitcher and it doesn’t seem to hold anything back
I haven't read any of her works yet but she's on my list. Based on your username in this picture I guess you recommend?
Not OP but I'm currently on book two of A Court of Thorns and Roses. I've been loving it so far but it reads a little bit like fanfiction at times. Nothing bad in that, it got me out of a two-month long reading slump and the second book is definitely better. If you're into audiobooks, check out Graphic Audio's version on Audible. It's in full cast with music and ambience.
Also her characters are horny.
I absolutely adore graphic audio, I have listened to all of their Cosmere adaptations and I think they do such incredible work.
And that's okay, I like a horny character
Definitely recommend, though my username is more of a Tolkien reference.
They are all super fun and exciting so far except maybe book 3 :/
Lol oh oops. Exposing myself as not being as familiar with Tolkien.
Someone make a community for pics of coffee + books, pls
That looks amazing!
Any tips (besides a year of practice) for how you got the hang of latte art?
Based on how often you get to practice, you can get the hang of it within a day or two, but even my slower colleagues got it after a few weeks.
All in all, you will still have to practice to feel the amount you can control size, thickness, speed etc., but it's easier when you know what's going on in the cup.
Have a lot of fun practicing and I wish you a lot of round hearts! Also, don't be ashamed: everyone starts out with gourds, dicks and butts. At least you can say it was intentional.
Gosh thanks for all the info, i had no idea about any of this technique stuff. I'll have to watch some videos again and try my hand! Appreciate it!
