Gloves and machinery are not the best mix

What's that machine intended to be used for?

I have been a machine operator. We were not allowed to wear gloves because of the risk of degloving accidents.

It appears you ran your hand through in a flat position, with fingers perpendicular to the wheels. . If you look at the diagram on the machine, you should hold your hand vertically and run your fingers parallel through the wheels to more effectively crush your hand.

Isn't there a warning sticker that says you're not supposed to do that?
