Actually yeah. I use the hell out of my library.
Total cost, 10 minutes to go in and get my card. 18 years ago.
Fucking love Libby.
It even took my original library card from when I was a child. So I didn’t even have to go back in for one.
Check if you have other library networks nearby. If you have city and county, might be 2 different library networks with more book selections. I have like 6 and some libraries even let you sign up remotely. I had a new York card for a month.
Great idea, I just checked and unfortunately my state library system DID have online sign up, but they have a post saying it got overwhelmed during covid and they are moving it to another server….and I guess that’s going to take the normal amount of time the bureaucracy will allow…lol

/Srs is there any other way to get a library card outside US? My country doesn’t have library cards💀
It's a private tracker with an application to get in, but IIRC it's fairly easy to get in - myanonamouse.net
FWIW: MAM has Anxiously Attached but only in eBook not audiobook
Second for MAM, they're great and well worth the minor trouble to join.
