Amazing recovery - it looks so happy now! Also, for a hot second I got excited that there's someone else from Tokyo here, but alas ;)
How did you get it to come back?
In this case I think it was giving it time to heal and build back mostly!
When I first got it I made the mistake of adding liquid fertilizer immediately after putting it in its pot. I’m imagining there were some damaged roots during the transfer… the next day it was pretty much all dead leaves. I removed them all and that’s where the first picture was taken.
I live in Florida, so thankfully there’s plenty of sun for them. I just let it sit out in full sun since then, and watered sparingly!
Sometimes it's hard to just leave a plant alone. I have some succulents that I will post some pictures of later.
Yes! That was my biggest issue when I started off. Starting around the dormancy period for nearly all of them didn’t help much either! 😅
I’ve learned to just enjoy the little things a bit more, which was a goal I had in mind when I decided to start collecting them.
Nowadays I’m enjoying the routine of going outside every morning to check in on them and taking photos when I can.
Looking forwards to seeing yours, I’ll be sharing more as well!
If anyone isn’t seeing the entire photo album can you please let me know? Not sure if I posted it properly, would really appreciate it!
I see 4 photos (Liftoff app) and what a stunning progression! 👏
Awesome! I appreciate you letting me know. I posted through the browser which showed alright for me, but the Memmy app doesn’t seem to have any thing but the first photo on my end.
Still really fresh to all this!
I toggle between 3 different apps on Android and it seems that it took awhile until I received your comment. I guess everything is fresh here -- and it's all part of the fun!
