It'd be a shame if these fake animals were made out of solid sharp materials... Just sayin'
Concrete would be better. Inertia is a bitch.
Aren't SUVs and trucks the majority of vehicles on the road the begin with in North America
It's saying most of those who don't care about animals on the road drive SUVs, not that most SUV drivers don't care about animals.
But if the majority of people on the road are SUV drivers wouldn't it only make sense that the majority of drivers who don't care about animals are also SUV drivers
Ah, I get you ... yes that's a fair point. In Europe we don't have so many SUVs
Europe has so many awesome wagons, and we get almost none of them. People here would rather drive lifted hatchbacks that handle like shit, rather than a cool wagon.
Erm, I guess this is one of those cases where words don't translate well between variants of English ... I hardly ever see "station wagons" (estate cars?) here, whereas there's lots of cool lifted hatchbacks around like the Fiat Panda 4x4
Interesting video, but also 11 years old. Would be curious to see how it is now
I have yet to hit an animal while driving but it's probably coming. I'm gonna be so sad :(
I hit a deer last year after twenty years of uneventful driving. It was on a highway known for drunk drivers so I was hyper aware and my reaction couldn’t have been any faster, but those animals are so insanely fast. I had to go to therapy for that shit.
A friend of mine hit a deer and totalled his (compact sedan) car. My cousin swerved to dodge a deer, hit a tree and totalled the family pickup.
REPTILIANS ARE REAL!

E allora il SUV non è pericoloso di per sé, ma è l'automobilista di SUV ad avere qualcosa che non va?

Rules
-
Be nice to each other. Being aggressive or inflammatory towards other users will get you banned. Name calling or obvious trolling falls under that. Hate cars, hate the system, but not people. While some drivers definitely deserve some hate, most of them didn't choose car-centric life out of free will.
-
No bigotry or hate. Racism, transphobia, misogyny, ableism, homophobia, chauvinism, fat-shaming, body-shaming, stigmatization of people experiencing homeless or substance users, etc. are not tolerated. Don't use slurs. You can laugh at someone's fragile masculinity without associating it with their body. The correlation between car-culture and body weight is not an excuse for fat-shaming.
-
Stay on-topic. Submissions should be on-topic to the externalities of car culture in urban development and communities globally. Posting about alternatives to cars and car culture is fine. Don't post literal car fucking.
-
No traffic violence. Do not post depictions of traffic violence. NSFW or NSFL posts are not allowed. Gawking at crashes is not allowed. Be respectful to people who are a victim of traffic violence or otherwise traumatized by it. News articles about crashes and statistics about traffic violence are allowed. Glorifying traffic violence will get you banned.

No reposts. Before sharing, check if your post isn't a repost. Reposts that add something new are fine. Reposts that are sharing content from somewhere else are fine too.
-
No misinformation. Masks and vaccines save lives during a pandemic, climate change is real and anthropogenic - and denial of these and other established facts will get you banned. False or highly speculative titles will get your post deleted.

No harassment. Posts that (may) cause harassment, dogpiling or brigading, intentionally or not, will be removed. Please do not post screenshots containing uncensored usernames. Actual harassment, dogpiling or brigading is a bannable offence.
