Do you have a source for where they said Beeper Cloud would be phased out?

My understanding is they would continue to develop both and Beeper Mini seems to be designed to function as a companion app alongside it although it can be used independently.

My guess was that they would use Beeper Mini to roll out paid features and continue to support both.
