ive never quite enjoyed the term fediverse. i realized recently ive been utilizing 'fediverse' and 'federation' interchangeably to the point i made a thing, and didnt notice until after i posted it

so, can i do that or am i gunna get spanked by le pedants for being a moron?

The fediverse is the network of federated instances

Federation is the process by which content and interactions are aggregated and shared between all instances

They're definitely not interchangeable words.

Incidentally I can't load the link you shared, it takes me to a blank homepage for some instance
