Been using it a while now but one thing missing for me is tapping top edge of screen to scroll to top like all other apps.

[-] lightsecond@programming.dev 0 points 2 years ago

For a workaround, click on the currently chosen icon in the tab bar at the bottom.

[-] visualfeast@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

Excellent, that works. Thanks!

[-] SpezCanLigmaBalls@lemmy.world 0 points 2 years ago

you just hit the top of the screen bro lol

[-] visualfeast@lemmy.world 0 points 2 years ago

Still not working here on both iPad and iPhone. All other apps I can touch top of screen and it’ll scroll to top.

[-] SpezCanLigmaBalls@lemmy.world 0 points 2 years ago

On Apollo if you touch the top bar it doesn’t scroll to the top for you? That’s odd because it works for me

[-] visualfeast@lemmy.world 0 points 2 years ago

No, I’m talking about wefwef! :)

[-] SpezCanLigmaBalls@lemmy.world 0 points 2 years ago

Well that was confusing since the thread was about Apollo lol

I apparently replied to the wrong comment. :)

Yeah I'm gonna need a new app too. Think Xennial dad at home that just wants an ios app.

We're building an Apollo-style app for Lemmy at https://wefwef.app! It looks and functions just like the original.

It’s great so far, but the inverted colours for upvote/downvote are confusing. I see blue and think I downvoted.

[-] avater@lemmy.world 0 points 2 years ago

du you have plans for making a native app?

[-] Kittengineer@lemmy.world 0 points 2 years ago

It honestly feels very native, they did an amazing job. Give it a try. Could have totally fooled me it was native if not for the install process being save on homescreen vs download.

[-] Lachy@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

It’s missing some things like integration for imgur and xkcd, where Apollo would show the images in-app, instead of opening the websites or native imgur app separately.

The project owner doesn't I believe. But it's totally possible using something like Tauri.

[-] avater@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

ah okay, thank you. Will keep an eye on this

I love how even details like the collapse are identical. But I’d like the option to change font size and edit comments.

Edit: just notice I can already change font size and edit comments too! 😁
