That’s funny! Do you say “an Irish goodbye” in English when someone leaves without saying goodbye? In German, we say “einen polnischen Abgang machen”, which literally means “to make a Polish exit.” (Apologies to my Polish friends!)

United States & Ireland: Irish goodbye
United Kingdom: French exit
France: filer à l'anglaise (to leave the English way)
Poland: wyjść po angielsku (to leave the English way)
