My initial reaction was "ehh, that seems a bit much" but then I challenged myself to replace "trans" with any other marginalized minority, like an all-black cast, and well, doesn't seem so bad. I guess I still have work to do on confronting my own sub conscious biases.

An all trans movie seems like a bit of a meme to me but also Lilly and her sister have never made something I didn't love so I say fund it!

She made or helped make sense8 and that was awesome. Jamie Clayton is my favourite trans actress. I’ve been a fan of hers since Designated Survivor. I bet she’d work with Lilly again.

I dont think the Wachowskis have made a movie that I didn't enjoy on at least some level.

Even Jupiter Ascending is a blast if you consider it to be a satire of YA fiction
