Unsurprisingly, another Republican sex abuser.
The man who Distributed CHILD PORNOGRAPHY OF MY GRANDDAUGHTER should Maybe Sometime Perhaps be fired from his Job!
-Senator Moreno WEEKS after Learning of This!

I checked the article and didn't see any references as to why Republican Senator Bernie Moreno took so long to come to his daughter's and granddaughter's defense over Republican Rep Max Miller's abuse. I would think such a detail should be made clear.
It's because he is a republican. So he's a terrible human.
one theory:

However, Signorile then pointed out that court filings related to Miller’s ex-wife seeking of a restraining order against him included a text message threat that Miller made to Bernie Moreno.
“I’m sick of this, you know I never hurt our daughter. Take this however you want, everyone is going to get to know you better than your wife does,” Miller wrote to Bernie Moreno in the text. “Enjoy the ride brother, I wouldn’t have to do this if you could keep your lying daughter under control.”
Of course, this is just speculation. That definitely reads like a blackmail attempt, though, whatever the reason for it.
I wasn't aware of this. Thank you so much for providing that link. I fully agree with you - it does look like blackmail to me.
@celeste@kbin.earth , one more thing on this: the article you shared is very enlightening - I just read it. But it does not appear to have been shared on Lemmy (like in News, etc). I just tried searching for it.
Did you want to share it on News and/or a related topic? Or I could do it if you'd rather not. Thanks again!
Oh, if you'd like to share it, go ahead! I must have seen it linked elsewhere.
Senator Moreno (R) would be OK with Representative Max Miller (R) if he allegedly abused someone else's daughter.
He shouldn't, but he's going to... The majority of Ohioans are fucking stupid.
:clack, clack:
Oh, wait, wrong Max Miller
:)
