Ok I'm anti AI as anyone but I feel like only measuring 1 day worth of sales is kinda dumb. Like if they did this for 6 months, with similar daily sales, they'll recoup their initial investment. The real question is how does the AI manage the day to day situation. What are their daily operating costs, are they at least able to exceed that?

Aye. I was being a little facetious, and making a reference to the video game Helldovers in the process, but it does make me wonder what the legal line is when it comes to determining pay by computer.
If a company implements an AI powered monitoring system that reduces your pay because you spent less time at your computer writing code or more time in the bathroom compared to your coworkers, at what point does it start crossing into illegal/discrimination boundaries? A company usually cannot reduce someone's pay if they disclose a disability and require accommodation, for example, but it is unclear whether that would let them wash their hands of the issue, since the pay was set by computer.
So they made $92 profit? Not bad.

I'm honestly astonished they managed to earn a single dollar.
They have the intelligence of a kid, or at least it feels like it in the video, they feel like kids, and that, is frightening.
I started watching, expecting this to be cringy and super-annoying, but actually I find it a fascinating project and fun video.
Still only 6min+ in so far, but I especially like how the LLM's get roasted at times. Is this guy another Mark Rober-type?
I guess so. This is the first vid I've seen of this channel and it also seems to be promoting some kind of AI platform which doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.
That being said the video is well made and entertaining. They don't make the obvious conclusion that the Ai really really isn't well suited to autonomously design and can't effectively run something as simple as a lemonade stand but the kids are cute.
Pretty sure the channel is owned and run by that AI platform, this is a cheap way of funding advertisement compared to the potential views

Then on top you can add the cost per click, which averages 3.8$ for technology products. Assuming one in a thousand would click the link, that represents a further cost of 3.800$
I'm pretty confident to claim this video to be the cheapest form of advertisement, especially because it's jolly making people associate the company with something positive rather than just another annoying ad popping up

Ah, that's disappointing. Claude in particular seemed to particularly bork things up at several points. I guess the one caveat is that the video itself and dude's running comments seem to suggest all by themselves, the obvious part.
