Just found out one of my spouse's teammates died while on vacation. I guess it's a good reminder that you never know when your time will come, so value the time you have wisely. But man, what a bummer.

I had a former coworker die during the pandemic (not Covid related). Older than me, though not by much, and in better shape. I was shocked and bummed.

I saw several automated tax loss harvesting notifications which was my first clue, I honestly just haven’t been watching the market at all. I took a look finally, I’m down something like 3x my fresh out of college salary over the last 90 days.
