I'm not that sure about McConnel, but I bet they'll try to pull off a "Weekend at Bernie's" when diabetes finally does its job and Trump kicks the bucket.
More so than cheering for someone's death my truest wish is they see the error of their ways and turncoat. That they use what remains of their life to atone for the needless and avoidable suffering they caused others. Of course I'm not naive and understand not everyone has a strong enough ego for that action, that is out of fear they typically double down on their misdeeds. If for a moment they truly sit with the awareness of what they've done, now that's scary and the mind will typically avoid that at all costs.
