Probably not for sale since they will want to simply lock the IP in the graveyard rather than let someone else create something with it.
Imagine buying Arkane Studios and forcing them to do Redfall.

I'm not so sure it's a joke. He just played through Dishonored with some of the devs and uploaded it to YT, and it sounded a lot like the team enjoyed looking back not just for nostalgia, but also a reminder of the kind of work they got to do back then. I would not be surprised if that reunion brought back some real ambitions to take back control of their work.

Unfortunately, I don't see that being cheap. Glad to see it though. With everything we've seen in recent years of companies get bought and shoves through the money press, I've been wondering why we don't see more titles like this. I know it's all about ✨money ✨ but if you're already shuttering a studio, why not sell the title rights? I'm sure the poor layoffs often wouldn't mind a chance at putting the studio back in the spot the corpos ripped it out of.
