She's become a cryptid and exists in many universes simultaneously resulting in her appearing blurry in photos without my editing.
Looks like (the beginnings of?) an arrowhead, hard to tell from a photo. They tend to turn up after a rain dries up.
Bet it's a fossil. Don't forget where you found that.
Found in Appalachia, so if it is then it is incredibly old.

You're more right than most people realize. The Ouachita and Appalachian mountains were once part of the same mountain range, along with the Scottish Highlands iirc. You're definitely right about that being a very old fossil if it is a fossil and if you found it in the Oachitas.

Yessir! I don't get up it much, but had some family visiting so I was taking them to all the tourist spots.
Nice view. Almost looks like the bridge at Grandfather Mountain.
It's all part of the Canadian shield in the end. I've heard the Ouachitas are connected to the Appalachians as well, all ancient rock.
I wonder if there are more pieces. Great rock. Excellent lines.
