According to media watchdog Status, Weiss is eager to launch a media counter-offensive. She's been in talks with the New York Times' Michael Barbaro about appearing on "The Daily" podcast—a choice that reveals her strategy: find a friendly interviewer willing to let her explain away the wreckage.

Anyone who gives this partisan, hack, Tuesday lady a platform to espouse her bullshit should be "cancelled".

I'd watch a Scott Pelley interview of Weiss where he can ask any question he wants, she doesn't get to see the questions beforehand, and it airs on NBC.

US media is controlled by Israel and Weiss is one of the best examples of this.

The US is no longer the master of the US-Israel relationship. The US is the puppet of Israel. Israel has literally colonized the US.

ehhhh

Israel and its donors are definitely involved in a lot of US dealings... but saying "US media is controlled by Israel" is a colloquial version of "Jews control the media". It's hyperbolic and not true. Especially in this day in age of tech with so many indie blog/stream journalist. More importantly, that kind of exaggeration is not helpful while both invoking and inviting actual nazi rhetoric.

You can be critical of Israel without quoting literal nazi propaganda.

That's a blatantly false equivalence that requires us to accept the lie that Israel = all Jews, or that Israel is representative of the Jewish people as an ethnicity and religious group. They are not.

Israel is a country, and an imperial and genocidal country at that.

And its simply a fact that Israel is controlling mainstream US media. Berry Weiss is a Zionist media tyrant who has expressly vocalized unrelenting support for Israel, and is in the position she is in because she's an Israeli puppet.

The Ellison's, who put Weiss in her position, are extraordinary Zionists pieces of shit who own vast swaths of US mainstream media and have also explicitly stated they're pushing the media they own to relentlessly pro-Israel and pro-Zionism propaganda.

Not to mention the countless US politicians at nearly every level of government that receives tens of thousands, or even millions of dollars from Israel via AIPAC and their shadow PACs.

And let's not forget the fact Epstein was an Israeli agent who gave his blackmail on the US elite to Israel. Even the FBI in the leaked Epstein files stated Trump himself is compromised by Israel, and recently you have a former Israeli intelligence officer who stated Netanyahu will release Trump's Epstein gathered blackmail if the Iran war ends.

I don't see how you could possibly see it in any other light. Israel has colonized the USA.

I'd rather watch her try to flush her head down a toilet.

Imagine being an editor-in-chief of a news media outlet and giving a shit what people think about your work... That's not what editors do. They oversee and ensure factual and acurate data is being published. There's no feelings involved. Or rather, there shouldn't be. What a fucking snowflake.

Imagine having no real qualifications outside of right wing opinion rags then you get promoted well outside of your ability level and wreck one of the few storied, non-partisan news sources lift in the states.

Of course randoms on the Internet will rush to your defense for some reason.

Bari Weiss is a disgusting hack, and laughably unqualified, but being a news outlet editor is way more complicated than just rubber stamping factual reporting. Editors allocate resources - from writers and photographers/crews to even start a story, to how the front page is divvied up, how stories are promoted, how many column inches (or words, or minutes) a topic gets.

Point being that there are definitely feelings involved. Even if it's one story is more interesting than another, or we've covered this topic more than enough lately, or this story is factual but not adding anything new, etc. etc. etc. It's a hard job, and more subjective than you'd think, so I don't blame her for being defensive when she's literally the worst editor to ever hold a national news desk down.
